Metrics: app_events_total{event="visit.recorded"}, file.uploaded, file.downloaded.
Test failures
Test endpoints are disabled. Set DEBUG_ROUTES=true in /opt/app/.env and restart the app.
Unhandled exception. A level=error log with a stack trace, a 5xx in metrics, and an alert.
Queries a table that doesn't exist: a failing dependency.
A client mistake. Counted as 4xx in metrics, but it should not wake anyone up at night.
Pushes up the p95 latency in the histogram.
An exception caught by window.onerror and sent to /api/client-errors.
An unhandled error in async code (unhandledrejection).
The process exits and Docker restarts it. Fires the API restarted alert; the restart shows up in the logs.
